1/4 cup glutinous rice

2-3 cloves garlic

2-3 jujubes (Korean dates)

1 small piece of ginseng (or ginseng tea bag as an alternative)

2 green onions

Salt and pepper to taste

4-5 cups of water
Instructions:

Prepare the Cornish Hen:

Wash the CJ Prime Cornish Hen thoroughly, removing any leftover innards. Rinse the cavity with water and pat dry with a paper towel.

Stuff the Hen:

Rinse the glutinous rice and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. Drain the rice and stuff it into the cavity of the hen along with the garlic, jujubes, and ginseng.

Place the stuffed Cornish Hen in a large pot. Add 4-5 cups of water, ensuring the hen is fully submerged. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours. Skim off any foam or impurities that rise to the surface to keep the broth clear.
